Friday exchange:

Electromagnetic composition for building, plants and stars (Adelaide Array-2009)
The second of our late night Fridays sees us joined by artists David Haines and Joyce Hinterding, whose installation of sculptural and sonic beauty, composed with the building itself, brings resonance into being with a length of copper wire wrapped around columns in the RiAus Future Space. This ‘antenna’ picks up low frequency radiation from within the building, from around the city and from outer space - the electromagnetic crackle of the stars – and merges this with audio recordings and luminous video projections of the artists’ urban explorations, revealing the hidden shimmer and wonder of everyday places.
